Our cello lessons are aimed at young and adult cellists and combine individual support with modern teaching methods. This allows students to learn anywhere and make continuous progress.
Whether online or on site: Every hour is a space to discover your own sound, improve your technique and enjoy music – at your own pace, free in expression and with a healthy playing style.
ABOUT ME
I am Chieh Lee,
Cellist with the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, originally from Taiwan and currently teaching in the Essen area.
Prior to this, I performed several times as a substitute with the Bochum Symphony Orchestra, gaining valuable experience in orchestral playing.
I have over ten years of experience teaching cello and tailor each lesson to the individual needs of my students, allowing them to learn and grow at their own pace. My teaching is not only about technique, but also about enjoying the process of making music, exploring new avenues of expression, and developing each student’s unique sound.

At Arco Cello Studio, every lesson is individually tailored and structured to your needs. We emphasize technique, sound development, and clear learning objectives, accompanied by honest feedback – so you can practice efficiently and effectively.
You can choose in-person classes in Essen or Bochum (Germany) or use live online classes. Both options offer the same quality, personal support, and interactive lessons – regardless of your location.
